From now on Vesteda sends heating and service cost statements digitally

Until now, tenants have received their annual statement of heating and service costs by mail. The introduction of a new administration system in June 2020 made it possible to almost completely digitize these statements. There are a number of advantages to send statements digitally. The process is more efficient, which contributes to an increase in quality. A payment request is sent along with the statement, this means that the invoice can be paid with a few mouse clicks. And the digital dispatch saves us sending 20,000 letters, so it also contributes to a better environment.

The implementation of a new administration system caused a considerable delay in sending the statements for 2019 and 2020. By July 1, 2021, 42% of our tenants had received a statement. This percentage is already much higher than last year when the transfer of data from various old systems to the new system caused additional delay. It is expected that the digitized process will ensure that next year the largest number of settlements can actually be processed before July 1, 2022.

Meanwhile, 80% of our tenants have signed up with us with an email address; the other tenants are asked to sign up with their email address through My Vesteda. Tenants without an email address will continue to receive their statements by mail.
