Maarten de Groof steps down from Vesteda Supervisory Committee

Vesteda announces that Maarten de Groof has resigned as chairman of Vesteda’s Supervisory Committee with effect from 31 December 2016. Mr. De Groof has accepted a full time executive position outside the Netherlands, which he feels is incompatible with his current supervisory role at Vesteda due to time commitments and availability.

The Supervisory Committee would like to thank Mr. De Groof, also on behalf of the organisation, for his efforts on Vesteda’s behalf over the past eighteen months and wishes him every success in his new position.

In his role as vice-chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Mr. Peter Kok will temporarily assume the chairmanship of the committee. The Supervisory Committee has started the process for a definitive replacement for the position of Chairman. Following the departure of Mr. De Groof, Vesteda’s Supervisory Committee temporarily consists of four members.
