Vesteda appoints Erik van Langeveld as head of Asset Management

Summary

Vesteda has appointed Erik van Langeveld (1962) as the head of Asset Management as of 1 December 2014. Asset managers Liesbeth Janssen (1978) and Marieke Ranzijn (1980) also recently joined the department. These latest appointments bring the total number of asset managers to six. 

Erik van Langeveld has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector and for the past five years has acted as consultant for a number of clients, including Vesteda, on tactical and strategic issues in the real estate sector. These include return optimisation, due diligence processes, acquisition and sales processes, hold/sell analyses, (re)financing and portfolio strategies. As head of Asset Management, Erik van Langeveld is responsible for the daily management of the Asset Management department and Vesteda’s portfolio in Rotterdam. He will report to director of Portfolio Management Hans Touw, who is responsible for Portfolio analysis and strategy, Asset Management and Divestments. 

Liesbeth Janssen is responsible for Vesteda’s portfolios in the Noord Brabant and Limburg provinces. For the past five years, she worked at Staedion as Property & Policy consultant. Marieke Ranzijn is responsible for the portfolios in the provinces Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Overijssel and Gelderland. Before joining Vesteda, she spent more than six years as an appraiser at real estate brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle.
