Vesteda extends range of individual solutions for tenants with rent payment difficulties

Tenants who have experienced a sharp drop in income due to the recently announced government measures can again apply to Vesteda for individual financial solutions.

On 13 October 2020, the government re-introduced a number of strict measures to prevent the further spread of coronavirus. Businesses, suppliers, and employees in the hospitality industry in particular are likely to feel the financial effects of these measures. Vesteda would like to request that tenants who expect to experience rent payment difficulties contact us as promptly as possible. This way, we can jointly identify a suitable individual financial solution. We would like to support you and we hope, of course, that you are and remain financially – and physically – in good health.

Individual financial solutions

At present, there is no certainty about the further spread of coronavirus. One thing that is certain is that having your own place to live or work is important. Consequently, Vesteda is offering individual solutions to tenants who experience a sharp drop in income due to the stricter measures announced by the government, as in March 2020. These solutions could include an appropriate payment arrangement or working together to identify a home that better matches the tenant’s monthly income. In spring, 250 tenants – equivalent to around 1% of the total number of tenants – applied to Vesteda for an individual solution.

Government support

The government has come forward with another support and recovery package, and you can find further information on the government website. If you are still unable to meet your payment obligations, in spite of this support, please contact Vesteda on collections@vesteda.com or by phone on +31(0) 884561656 and choose option 1, 3, 1. You can find further information about our coronavirus measures on our website.
