Vesteda signs turnkey contract for second project in Schuytgraaf Arnhem

Vesteda has signed a turnkey agreement for the construction of 31 family homes in the urban expansion neighbourhood of Schuytgraaf in Arnhem. Like the previous Helioshof project, the Lunahof project will be realised by construction firm Reinbouw B.V. Vesteda expects to take delivery of the project in mid-2016. Including the Lunahof project, Vesteda now has a total of five residential complexes in Arnhem.

The family homes were designed by architects firm BDC and will be built by Reinbouw B.V. in cooperation with affordable housing organisation BetaalbaarWonenNL. The homes vary in size between 115 m2 and 135 m2. The inner courtyard will provide parking for 26 cars and includes a green space that can be converted into a play area for children. The homes will be energy efficient and come fitted with solar panels.

Nico Mol, director Acquisitions & Development at Vesteda: “The Lunahof project is a wonderful addition to Vesteda’s existing residential portfolio in Arnhem. In April of this year, we took delivery of our Helioshof project in the Schuytgraaf neighbourhood. This project was fully let within three months of delivery. With the success of this project in mind, we decided to invest in a second project in Schuytgraaf. The homes are a good fit for the Vesteda portfolio, in terms of their regional location, rental segment and energy label.”
