Vesteda appoints Hélène Pragt as CFO

Summary

Vesteda reports the appointment of Mrs Hélène Pragt (1966) as CFO of the company at the Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders held on 5 September last. Mrs. Pragt will together with CEO Gertjan van der Baan form the Vesteda statutory board of directors.

Hélène Pragt’s previous employers include Achmea and Rodamco Europe/Unibail-Rodamco. Mrs. Pragt held various positions at these companies, including Director Finance Unibail-Rodamco the Netherlands and Belgium, and Director of Finance and Risk Management Achmea Central Services. She has also been a member of the Supervisory Board and chairman of the Audit Committee of housing corporation De Alliantie since 2008.

Kees de Boo, chairman of Vesteda’s Supervisory Committee, said in response to the appointment: “We are convinced that Hélène Pragt is the right person to fill the position of CFO of Vesteda. Hélène has ample experience in the management of financial organisations and given her extensive know-how and experience is an excellent addition to the team.”
