Vesteda review 2021: A year that was still dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic

On 6 April, we published our Annual Report 2021. A year that was still dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our staff worked from home most of the time and face‐to‐face meetings were limited, except during the summer. During the pandemic we saw how resilient and flexible we are as an organisation. We continued to support tenants in financial difficulties, offering custom‐made solutions and we moderated our annual rent increase.

The occupancy rate turned back at pre-COVID-19 levels, despite a higher turnover rate, especially in the high rental segment. Our tenant satisfaction was 7.0, outperforming the benchmark by 10 bps.

The construction of pipeline projects continued, mostly as planned, and we completed several large renovation and sustainability projects. GRESB recognised our sustainability efforts by another 5-star rating and S&P rewarded our funding structure with a rating upgrade to A- from BBB+.

We would like to invite you to read more about the developments in 2021 and our performance in our online annual report at www.vestedareport.com
