Vesteda takes delivery of 29 rental homes in Arnhem

Vesteda today took delivery of 29 family homes in the urban expansion suburb of Schuytgraaf in Arnhem. The Arnhem city council, Reinbouw BV and Vesteda signed the (turnkey) agreement for this project in mid-2014. Construction started in November 2014.

The new-build project named Helioshof marks the completion of the first rental homes in the Singelkwartier district of Schuytgraaf. Schuytgraaf will eventually see the construction of some 6,250 homes in 26 neighbourhoods full of character with surprising variations in both homes and streets.

Vesteda will rent out the homes in the mid-segment of the liberalised rental sector and has already started the rental process. There are currently a number of homes available for rent. The first tenants are due to move into their new homes on 20 April.

Helioshof consists of 29 family homes arranged around a courtyard with three different types of homes. The living area varies from 110 to 130m2, with three to five bedrooms per home. All the homes come with a garden, terrace and storage space. Rents are from €790 upwards. The complex has been built in the same Amsterdam School architectural style as all the other homes in the Singelkwartier neighbourhood. Vesteda has opted for high-grade fixtures and fittings, withsolar panels for each home and high-quality kitchens with built in equipment.
